He’s been writing for over 30 years. Mike Curry – born and raised in the Grove Hall section of Boston – was introduced to the so-called streets as a teen. With no father at home, Mike says the streets became his father and where he learned some tough lessons.
He made mistakes that cost him years in prison. It took his freedom but never his mind, Mike says. So, with nothing but borrowed time on his side, he wrote. Six manuscripts. He said writing was his therapy and his way of relieving stress.
And now, that creative work has paid off. Mike Curry, owner and Founder of Unseen Handz Publications and contributing writer at Street Consequences Magazine is our guest with his first released novel, 3 Pounds of Pressure.
