On this episode of The PowerPLAY, we discuss some comments made by Suffolk District Attorney Rachael Rollins during an appearance on "Boston Public Radio" with Jim Braude and Margery Eagan on April 30, 2020. A criminal defendant called in to the show and told Rollins he was having trouble knowing his scheduled trial in the District Court. Rollins told him to call his lawyer for the date. In reply, the caller stated that his court-appointed counsel has not called him back. From there the irate District Attorney when on to criticize the entire class of lawyers in the Commonwealth who are court appointed to represent indigent criminal defendants.
